Q.2 His ancestry includes Scots-Irish,Jewish and some French Norman. He's an inductee in four "Hall of Fames".The single pairs of  two of his songs _______ and  _______ would set a mark that would be untouched for 36 years. On his appearance in a certain (_____?)NBC show, the show for the first time beaten the rival show (____?)in viewer ratings.Identify.

Hint:Also boarded a U.S.troop transport ship and has also met a man who became the"onlyone to resign from a certain post from his party"

  2. The picture is of Gordon Keith. He is the owner of Steel Records Co., the one that first signed Michael Jackson, who in the question is the Guinness record holder for the maximum albums sold.

So maybe Michael Jackson is the connect?

  3. Here's the answers with the "work-outs"

1.Second City-Chicago,Multiple Guinness Records such as "song to debut at number one position in Billboard 100(You are not Alone),most successful video ever(Thriller)"etc.Picture is of Gordon Keith, owner of Steel town Records who signed MJ in 1967.

    As for Hints (given):

It was SuperBowl Performance in the XXVII edition and he's inductee in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Dance Hall of Fame.

So the (super)star is Michael Jackson (MJ)

    2.The Hall of Fames are:
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,The Country Music Hall of Fame,The Gospel Music Hall of Fame and The Rockabilly Hall of Fame. The songs are Hound Dog and Don't be Cruel.Show on NBC is Steve Allen Show and "rival show" is the CBS's the Ed-Sullivan show(yup!the same related to Beatles).

    As for hints:

Aboard USS General George M. Randall and the man he met was Richard Nixon (of the Watergate Scandal)

Our man is,none other than Elvis Presley
("You Aint know nothin 'bout a Hound Dog!).

Well and the connect between the two of them is Lisa Marie Presley.(MJ's wife for sometime and Elvis's daughter.)
